Confirmation is for students in grades six through eight. We meet on Sunday evenings at 6:30. On the first and third Sundays of the month, we gather for worship and then a brief class. On the other Sundays of the month we gather for an hour and a half of conversation, video lessons and activities designed to draw young people closer to God. It is a time for young people to ask questions about God and their faith, to deepen their relationships with God, and to take opportunities to serve others. After three years of instruction and experience, students may affirm their faith in public at a worship service and assume greater responsibility in our community of faith. The Confirmation Rite in which the young people affirm their faith in Christ is usually held at a worship service in June.
