A Pleasure to have known you
Tim,
I am so very happy you have answered your calling to return to the area I think you held very close to your heart. May you find the same peace and feeling you are “where you belong” as you had earlier in your life.
I cannot express how much you impacted my life as a christian. You were the real thing and as much as any mere mortal can be – you lived your faith. Unassuming and a spreader of joy with solid belief in your faith. Faith in the unseen.
Lauren’s burial went so well. Annette, Gary and Lynn were so awesome to have there. Gary’s prayers were soothing and the show of support touching indeed. I love Trinity.
Please be well.. I think you left a whole congregation LOVING you and shower your with blessings.
Love, Alison

Communion
This is one of my favorite pictures of Alex and Samuel.
Thank you, and best wishes!
Dear Pastor Tim,
Five years ago, you offered such a warm welcome to me and my infant son, as we began attending Trinity Lutheran. I am grateful for the warmth, support, and especially all of the times you stopped to connect with Owen. He loves our church community, and our Pastor “who wears the white cape!” We will miss you greatly, but what an amazing calling, to serve as Bishop. We wish you all the best!
Blessings,
Julie (and Owen)
Best Wishes
Pastor Tim,
For the short time that I have been attending worship services at TLC, I have enjoyed the service, your sermons and your style of doing things. I’m sorry to see you go, I wish you the very best with your new endeavor as Bishop. One thing must end for another to start.Best of luck to you and your wife on your move to Alaska.
GOD Bless.
Reinhold
Best Wishes!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done for our family. You were there as Jim and Heather said their marriage vows a moment in time we are grateful for. You were there when we had to say “go home to your father” to dad/grandpa back in December. Thank you for always being a source of friendship and great conversation for Dad. You mean the world to us as a family. God is truly sending his love through you daily. May the lord bless and keep you. We will come to Alaska to visit!! It’s on the bucket list! All our love!

May God continue to bless you always
Hi Pastor, when Linda and I came to Trinity 6 years ago, you immediately welcomed us with open arms. Your kind generous heart has brought much comfort and peace to me over the years.
When Linda was preparing for each of her back surgeries, you prayed with us and brought in the entire prayer community for Linda. Her surgeries have been very serious and I’m certain she is still with us only through the power of prayer and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you so much for your Christian guidance! I loved studying the bible with you and the others. Your knowledge and way with people has taught me so much
Everyday we saw you, you were always helping others. Pitching in wherever needed and always with a big smile. 😊
Knowing you has been such a bless to us. We wish you only the very best in your new adventures…. Know that we love you very much!!

Farewell Message
Dear Pastor Tim. We’re not quite sure how we can have two very different emotions about your becoming bishop and heading to Alaska. Firstly we feel sad to see you go. You were(are) a wonderful pastor, always there for us with a kind word or a joke and we looked forward to going to church to hear you preach the word of God in your own unique way. And secondly , we are so happy to see this new chapter of your life unfold…no one deserves this more than you. And despite our sadness at your leaving, we have joy in our hearts that God has seen fit to offer this unique position to you in an environment where you feel so comfortable and at home. We wish you all the best in Alaska and hope you’ll keep in touch with us to let us know how you’re doing.
God’s blessing.
Jon and Cheri Bertus
Blessings on your new chapter
Pastor Tim,
Brian and I want to wish you a wonderful and safe journey to Alaska and we are very happy for you and your family as you embark on this new chapter.
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts as you have been such a blessing in our lives.
You have guided us, loved us and supported us through many seasons and for that we are ever grateful for you. I look forward to keeping in touch and always remember when you’re eating a meal to enjoy it as much as Brian does.
We love you and will miss you!
Brian and Kim
Parking Lot Communion
A favorite memory of Pastor Tim is when our boys were young and Alex and David had both been through their first communion and Thomas had not. Tom would get up to the altar and as soon as he realized he was getting a blessing instead of bread would cry all the way back to his seat. It took too long for Allan and I to agree that Tom was just as welcome at the Lord’s table and allow him to partake but in the meantime Pastor Tim never failed to run out after worship and give Tom the entire leftover loaf!
Thank you for all the memories!
It will be 17 years since Amanda and I came together at TLC with Pastor Tim issuing our vows and beginning our family and journey together. We have had many laughs along the way. Thank you Pastor Tim for guiding us and our family and we are praying for your safe travels and journey in Alaska.
