On December 30, Trinity Lutheran Church was able to distribute more than $32,000 in charitable donations, supporting organizations that provide clean water and food to those most in need:
– A $5,000 check was delivered to the Midwest Food Bank by Jeff Spivey and Amanda Howe. This donation will help provide nutritious food to families and individuals facing food insecurity, both locally and beyond, ensuring that no one has to wonder where their next meal will come from.
– A $9,000 check was delivered to Cornerstone by Jeff Spivey and Pastor Christine. These funds will support Cornerstone’s work with individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability, helping to provide shelter, resources, and pathways toward stability and hope.
– An $18,517 online donation was made to Living Water. This generous gift will go toward providing sustainable access to clean and safe drinking water in communities around the world, transforming lives through improved health, education opportunities, and economic stability.
Together, these gifts total over $32,000 — a remarkable testament to the compassion, faith, and generosity of this congregation. Through your giving, Trinity Lutheran Church is helping to provide clean water around the world and food and shelter for those in need, living out Christ’s call to love and serve our neighbors.
We are truly blessed to be part of such a generous and faithful community. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to making a difference in God’s world.
